1. Introduction

At Payonetic Techno Private Limited (“Payonetic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), customer satisfaction and service integrity are at the heart of our operations. As a provider of secure, real-time digital financial solutions, we aim to maintain complete transparency in all transactions. This Refund and Cancellation Policy is intended to clarify the terms under which refunds and cancellations may be requested or processed, ensuring both our customers and merchants have a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Eligibility

We strive to ensure that every transaction processed through our platform is completed securely and successfully. However, in certain situations, refunds may be warranted. These include:

  • Platform or Technical Errors: If a transaction fails due to a malfunction or disruption in Payonetic’s system or network infrastructure, the amount debited will be refunded automatically to the original source. Refunds in such cases are usually processed within 72 working hours, although banking and gateway delays may extend this timeline.
  • Incomplete or Unsuccessful Transactions: If a customer initiates a payment and the transaction does not conclude successfully, yet the amount is debited from their account, a refund will be initiated. Most refunds are credited within 3 to 5 business days, though in exceptional cases, due to bank processing timelines, it may take up to 10 business days.

2.2 Processing Timelines

The duration for refund processing can vary depending on the mode of payment used and the policies of intermediary banks or payment processors. Payonetic monitors each case diligently and ensures proactive communication with affected customers during this period.

3. Non-Refundable Transactions

There are specific scenarios where refund requests will not be entertained. These include:

  • Incorrect Input from Customer: Refunds will not be issued if the transaction was completed using incorrect account numbers, phone numbers, or recipient details provided by the customer.
  • Successful Completion: Once a transaction is successfully processed and the intended service has been rendered or the beneficiary account credited, it becomes non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Disputes: Payonetic acts as a technology and transaction enabler. We are not liable for service disputes between customers and third-party merchants or vendors using our payment infrastructure.

4. Customer’s Responsibility

Customers are strongly advised to double-check all information before initiating a transaction. This includes account numbers, mobile details, and transaction amounts. Payonetic is not liable for losses arising from user errors or misdirected payments. Once a payment is executed successfully, it is deemed final and irreversible unless otherwise specified by applicable law or regulatory direction.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Completion: Users may cancel a transaction only if it has not yet been processed. Transactions in a “pending” state may be halted by the user within the available window of time.
  • After Completion: Once a transaction is completed, it cannot be canceled. In the event of failed or partial transactions, our refund policy—as described above—will apply accordingly.

6. Refund and Cancellation Procedure

  • Initiating a Refund Request: If a user does not receive the expected outcome of a transaction (e.g., recharge not completed, service not delivered), they should first contact the merchant or service provider with the transaction ID and payment details.
  • Contacting Payonetic Support: For concerns related to technical errors, failed transactions, or refund status, customers can directly get in touch with our support team through the contact details below.
